1935

With the prosperity of the Iraqi market in the early days of oil discovery, investors and Iraqi industrialists have realized the need for mechanical equipment. Al-Mahara PIC. the ancestor of OSOS with its first generation, provided the market with such equipment mainly through imports from renowned international suppliers.

1968

A factory was established in Baghdad to address market needs of mechanical equipment and parts. The factory is located in two buildings that are fully equipped with state of the art machinery to fulfill the majority of customer needs. The Factory includes the following:

• Five Lathe machines.
• Two milling machines
• Engraving machine
• Two machines for grinding surfaces
• Drilling machine
• Welding machines
• Vertical and horizontal reciprocating and continuous saw machine
• Wire cutting machine with CNC.
• Three different thermal furnaces
• Four drilling machines
• Scraping
• Five pressing machines of different sizes and pressures (ranging from 20 tons to 100 tons)
• Shears for metal sheets measuring 3 meters.
• In addition to templates, tools, and several stores.

1984

2017

With the abundance of resources serving the Iraqi market, the third generation realized the need to reorganize the company to reassure its continuity in this highly competitive environment. Taym Al Furat is currently heavily involved in providing the Iraqi Oil and Gas markets with their needs. Since 2010 some business deals were the reason to form Taym Al Furat that contracted to supply pipes for oil companies in addition to other vital products. They were also contracted to work in the field of petroleum products import-export through various regional and international sea ports.

Today

OSOS Energy today offers fully integrated services enabling contractors from both Public and Private sectors to accomplish successful delivery of their projects. These services are carried out with use of the latest technologies and highest international standards. They are also done with considerations of environmental protection as well as high customer integrity, manpower enablement and motivation.
